Y Fest 2008

Y Fest

Celebrating the Power of Youth to Change the World

Y Fest 2008 exists to build the New Global Citizens’ movement by CELEBRATING and RAISING AWARENESS of the power of youth to change the world.

Y Fest is the ONLY party of its kind – a festival featuring youth performers, youth-led projects and opportunities for young people to tackle the greatest challenges faced by communities around the world!

The inaugural Y Fest took place on May 14, 2005, and brought over 1,500 people together in San Francisco Civic Center Plaza for the big party. Since 2005, Y Fest has grown tremendously and this year promises to be the biggest and most exciting ever.

Mark your calendars to attend this year’s event, which will be full of presentations and performances by young people—youth bands, dancers, speakers, slam poets, singers…and more.
