Start Your Team

As an individual you can have an impact on the world's greatest challenges.  You can raise awareness, raise resources, and urge community, national, and international leaders to support change.

However, your actions will have far greater impact if you work to take action together with others.  To see what impact looks like check out the NGC Video Yearbook to learn how students across the United States partner with grassroots organizations across the globe working to create sustainable change.

A New Global Citizens team consists of an average of 10-20 Team Members, at least 3 Team Leaders and 1 Team Advisor.

This section provides you with information on the NGC program including the basics steps to get established as an official team.

And if you're having any challenges along the way contact us.

We can help in a lot of ways:

  • We can offer suggestions.
  • We can telephone or meet with school administrators and potential advisors.
  • We can connect you to any teams or NGC alumni members in your area.
Tip:

Take a look at the NGC materials available to assist you in getting started as an NGC team.

The information will prepare you to effectively gather support for your work with NGC in your school and community.
