Our Impact

IF YOU WANT A BETTER WORLD,

YOU MUST INVEST IN THE PEOPLE WHO WILL CREATE IT.

There are 106 million young people under the age of 25 in the United States.

If we can mobilize this generation to tackle some of the world’s greatest challenges, there is no telling what we might achieve.

IMPACT

Since 2006...

10,500 youth launched over 300 NGC teams on school campuses in 14 states across the country.

Collectively, the New Global Citizens movement raised $120,000, educated 300,000 community members and launched 150 advocacy initiatives to support 65 grassroots partner projects in 40 countries around the world.

Youth in McLean, Virginia raised funds to deliver education and vocational training to children affected by HIV/AIDS in Rwanda.

Seventeen year-olds in Phoenix, Arizona instigated community forums to gather school supplies, uniforms, and funds to support training for their homeless peers in Los Angeles.

Teenagers in Miramonte, California met with foreign ambassadors to learn how they can help mitigate the AIDS epidemic in South Africa.

To understand what this kind of support means on the ground, meet some of our Global Partners via the Global Project Menu

And check out our student stories and witness the individual transformation that occurs when young people realize they have a voice in creating sustainable global change.

AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING…
