Welcome to New Global Citizens! You're about to join something extraordinary and powerful - a movement of young people across the United States who are taking action to make change in communities around the world. From supporting innovative educational tools in India to promoting peace in Palestine through the power of theater to helping fight the spread of HIV in South Africa through educational programs, New Global Citizens teams are helping to solve the world's greatest challenges by supporting some of its most innovative solutions.

New Global Citizens works through student-led teams on high school campuses. We are looking for young people with a PASSION for change, the desire to TAKE ACTION and the COMMITMENT to build a better world...just like YOU. Once you start a New Global Citizens team, NGC will provide you with trainings, resource materials, ongoing support, and a vast network of young people and global organizations so you can take the lead and impact change in your community and the world.

Any high school student anywhere in the United States can start an NGC team! The process to start a team is pretty simple, and it requires absolutely no money or applications: just fill out our Get Started form, and you’ll be on your way to joining the Movement
