Los Angeles & New York New York Training is generously being hosted by Bryan Cave at 1290 Ave of the Americas (6th Ave), New York, NY Los Angeles Training will be held at Chapman University.
San Francisco & Phoenix San Francisco Traning will be held at the SF City College Ocean Campus. Phoenix Training will be held at Arizona State University.

YPW: New Global Citizens was chosen as a lead agency for the National and Global Youth Service Day. New Global Citizens is partnering with Mount Diablo CARES After School Programs to make this day of leadership available to the community and youth of Contra Costa County.
FREE CONFERENCE: Service on a Global Level: Engagement in the U.S. and Beyond YPW: New Global Citizens and Mobilize.org are presenting this conference highlighting how high school students are an essential part of the solution to the world's biggest challenges. This conference is FREE and open to all students, grades 9-12 in the great LA area. Registration is closed. But contact us if you are interested in future New Global Citizens Events in the Los Angeles area. YPW Club Leaders Training
Gulu Walk SF In the midst of a 20-year conflict in Uganda, over 1-million people have been displaced, on top of thousands of night commuters. This walk is organized to show solidarity with the children night commuters.
YPW goes to Ecuador YPW Program Officer, Ouida Chichester, is traveling to Ecuador to visit our partner organization Fundación de Discapacitados “Simón Palacios Intriago” (Foundation for People with Disabilities). During the ’05 ’06 school year two seniors at Northgate High School in Walnut Creek started their Huellas de Esperanza (Fingerprints of Hope) project to help build a rehabilitation center for the foundation. Ouida will be checking in on the progress of the project.
YPW New Club Leaders Training
International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Members of YPW will be joining thousands of people around the world on Sunday, May 21 for the 2006 International AIDS Candlelight Memorial. On this day, thousands of communities around the world will come together in solidarity to light candles and remember those who have been affected by HIV/AIDS. Each year, Memorials take place in over 4,500 communities in more than 93 countries. The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial has become the largest grassroots AIDS event in the world. CONFERENCE: Global Youth Action High school students will come together to discuss ways to take action against global poverty. This conference is free and open to 9-12th graders.
TRAINING: Bangladesh/American Youth Project In partnership with Relief International, YPW staff will be training American high school students upon their return from a trip to Bangladesh. Many of these young people will create projects that support the work of people they met on their visit.
TRAINING: “Engaging the entire family in end-of-year giving”
YPW in Africa Follow the travel blog of YPW staff as they visit Uganda, Tanzania and South Africa to support the work of Youth Together Against AIDS.
