Trip to Ecuador

I recently returned from a two week trip where I visited friends and colleagues in the coastal town of Pedernales, Ecuador. It has been nearly two years since I lived and worked in Pedernales as a Peace Corps Volunteer.  While in Ecuador I made some amazing friends and worked with some great community members and foundations. One of the foundations I worked with, the Fundación de Discapacitados "Simón Palacios Intriago" ("Simón Palacios Intriago" Foundation for People with Disabilities), is now a YPW project. In addition to visiting friends and former colleagues, I checked in with the Foundation for People with Disabilities to see how their projects are coming along.

Click on the photos below to see a slideshow and a more detailed account of my trip.
