A NGC Club is a group of young people who are committed to making global change. They are:

- A well-organized group of students seeking new, effective ways to engage in global change;
- An important resource in local communities around the United States; and
- A group committed to advocacy, community education and fundraising on behalf of a global challenge, in partnership with innovative leaders around the world.
The projects the NGC Clubs take on come from a broad range of geographic locations and address issues of poverty, environmental sustainability, maternal health, education, war and disaster, gender equality, AIDS and other diseases, and child mortality.

- Relevant, interesting and innovative material supporting club projects;
- An Action Manual: A Guide to Creating Global Change;
- Reliable technical and project support from a Program Associate;
- Assistance with securing additional resources, such as speakers for assemblies or photos of projects;
- A web page dedicated to each club’s project and activities;
- A regularly-evolving “menu of project options” designed in partnership with recognized leaders in the field of international development;
- Significant involvement in Y Fest, an opportunity to showcase your club’s achievements to a wide audience, including media.
