Global Citizenship

As a Global Action Club you set goals in the three aspects of Global Citizenship--Education, Advocacy and Philanthropy. The importance of these three methods for global change cannot be stressed enough.

Community Education ensures that you are learning and teaching the importance of global issues and realizing your community’s close connection to people throughout the world.

Advocacy is using the power of your voice to demand change for the good.

Philanthropy teaches you how to access and leverage resources to have an effect on major social issues. If people are merely throwing money in a pot, without true action or knowledge, there is no hope for continued support. Likewise, without funds to sponsor a project, work cannot be done on the ground level. Any one of these things alone cannot change the course of history, but rather Philanthropy, Advocacy, and Community Education must be activated together to create a powerful movement.
