Tufts

Tufts Logo

Tufts University is located just outside of Boston and offers the dynamic, personalized academic environment of a small liberal arts college with the resources and opportunities which exist at large research universities.  With an undergraduate community of just 5000 students living and learning on the rolling green hillside campus 15 minutes on the subway from downtown Boston, Tufts represents the best of both worlds.

Tufts students use their intelligence to go into the world and make a difference. This is a community of creative, questioning, and innovative students who value the opportunity to further their education through civic engagement and community involvement.  The atmosphere of intellectual curiosity and social awareness creates a stimulating and inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff to collaborate and learn from and with one another.

New Global Citizens team members interested in engaging with and mobilizing local communities should check out the Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service.  Students interested in international leadership and innovation should learn more about the Institute for Global Leadership.  Tufts encourages all students to consider the opportunity to pursue undergraduate research or study abroad.

Tufts invites students interested in learning more about diversity on campus to attend our fall fly-out program, Voices of Tufts: The Diversity Experience.  Prospective students arrive on campus on Thursday, October 28, and spend a night in the dorms with current students.  You will attend classes, eat in the dorms, and meet other college-bound students from all over the country while gaining a better understanding of the Tufts experience and community.

Students with questions should contact Becky Leichtling, the Arizona representative in the Tufts Admissions Office.
