Empowering Teachers

  • What is Global IQ?

The world is rapidly changing and increasingly interconnected. While we do not know what the world will look like in 20 years, we do know that to be successful, students will need the skills to communicate, collaborate, and problem solve across borders. Global IQ is the knowledge and skill set that allows individuals to successfully work, live, and serve in a connected world.

  • Why is it important to
    be a global citizen?

Global Citizens are active members of their global and local communities. They understand that global and local problems are connected and that they play a role in solving these problems. Without global citizens, the world’s problems will never be solved.

  • Who are New Global Citizens?

New Global Citizens are dynamic, passionate, and empowered individuals who refuse to believe that the world’s biggest problems are insurmountable. Through education and advocacy they work together with peers around the world to create sustainable change.

  • How do we become a
    New Global Citizen?

New Global Citizens are teachers, students, and grassroots organizations that are actively engaged in creating positive change around the world. Currently, there are NGC students in 10 U.S. states, and 5,000 students are involved on a daily basis in NGC classroom or afterschool programs.
